You sell from your personal WhatsApp. It is the number on your ads, the one customers save, the one holding three years of conversations.

Why you are told that
Because most automation tools go through Meta's official route. And that route genuinely does require a Business account, business verification, an approved display name — and above all a number registered to no WhatsApp account at all.
In other words: to automate your personal number that way, you would have to start by deregistering it from WhatsApp. Which is the exact opposite of what you want.
